Our religious education course is based upon the recently introduced “Come and See” scheme. This is the scheme recommended by the Bishops of England & Wales for use in Catholic Schools. Topics follow a four-yearly cycle and are taught over a period of approximately four weeks.

Each class in the school studies the same topic during the same half term appropriate to the age of the children. Hence when the school gathers for communal worship, the assemblies and services correlate to the topic being studied by all.

Children study throughout the year World Faiths in Judaism (Autumn Term) and Islam or Hinduism (Spring Term).

Each of these is then explored through The Church, The Sacraments, Christian Living

Here is an overview of this year's RE topics.
